Dynos and Datalogs

Some info on the car. 2011 335is manual with about 3,000 – 4,000 miles over the period of getting hardware and the different tunes. I went with a Helix FMIC, AR dps, BMS DCI and a used COBB.

As I noted in this thread, I had a baseline dyno completed as 100% stock on 12/17/12.

On 1/3/13 returned to the same dyno with the above mods to test out the stage 2+ OTS 93 octane, PTF stage 2+ 93 octane, OTS E30, and PTF E30 maps. Unfortunately, with the holidays, we weren’t able to 100% complete (On second revision) the 93 octane map and nothing on the E30 maps. That being said, here are the results for at least the PTF 93 maps and at least OTS e30.

I combined the runs so you could see just todays and all the different maps.
001 – Stock car with stage 1
003 – Stock car with stock tune
006 – Stage 2 car with Stage 2 PTF
008 – Stage 2 car with Stage 2 OTS
010 – Stage 2 car with stock tune
011 – Stage 2 car with E30 OTS

Thanks to

Tony @ speedinc for dyno time

@eric@helix for another amazing FMIC that does an awesome job of keeping temps down. On stage one stock fmic, saw a 70 degree spike in temp during the pull on intake temps. For all the pulls today on the helix, saw only 10 – 15 degree increases in temp from start to end of pull. More evidence that a solid FMIC is a huge benefit for this car.

@Terry@BMS for the cheap AR Dps and DCI, fast and easy to work with as usual.

@Rob@Cobb for dealing with all my questions and follow ups

And Jake and @dzenno@ProTUNING Freaks for the fast turnaround time on my maps before the holidays hit.
