I went for a drive to get a few datalogs in and on my third log When shifting from 3rd to 4th dsc completely off and a/c off i noticed a lack of power so i let off thinking something was wrong. drove home ok with good power. I checked the datalog and found that after the shift with the accelerator fully depressed the throttle took 6/10's of a second to reach 76.7%. A few weeks ago I installed a cobb v3, a charge pipe with stock dv's and 7" intercooler on my 08 135 manual trans with 83,xxx miles. I am running 1+ sport with e21 fuel mixture using acn91. (I get numerous timing pulls with just straight acn91) I have done about 25 logs and this is the first time this has happened. I haven't tried to reproduce it yet. Valves and TB have been cleaned. Turbos, vac. hoses and spark plugs are new. Fuel injectors and coils are original. Does any one have any ideas as to why the dme decided to open the TB so slowly?? I am new to this forum and to modifying cars but I have many years of experience wrenching on bmw's so hopefully i will be able to contribute to the forum in the future. I will try to reproduce it with mean abs and req. abs added. Any input is appreciated. Can't post link to the datazap due to no rep points. How do I get rep points?
