I own 08 e90 6mt and ordered upgraded turbos. I will occasionally take this car to the track to have fun on a quarter mile. I only launched this car once on a drag strip and got a terrible wheel hop. I used the e brake to hold the car and launched it at around 2 k rpm, I didn't drop the clutch at this run either. I had street tires and H&R coilovers. I just recently got LSD installed (50 miles ago) . What other mods would help me to eliminate-reduce wheel hop? My car has 67k miles. Rear subframe bushings, m3 suspension components? Also, do you recommend upgraded rear axles? I don't imagine that the stock axles would be able to hold launching 500 hp mt car too many times.
i also owned a 09 e92 auto with sport package and never had this issue. I would break boost at 2200 rpm and and never got any issues with traction. I was able to run 12.2 with Cobb ots map on 255/35/18 street tires.
