335i with JB4 + BMS Flash Beta vs 335is with Cobb E30 Map. Both cars battle it out again, the 335is holds near side by side to the 335i leaving no gap between even though the 335i did nose at ahead.
The BMS flash beta was just released to BimmerBoost.com member Prat10 to test out with no liability toward BMS. This was an enthusiast wanting to go all out to making sure the 335is never pulls ahead of him ever again.
The new BMS Flash Beta will soon be replacing the Cobb AP to flash the BMS map via a new Open Source Flash (OSF) currently being developed.
Even though this was a Beta, it was pretty much pushing out the same power if flashed with the Cobb AP on the back end.
Fighting fire with fire, the DCT 335is weighing a bit more, put up one hell of a fight to knock on the passenger door to remind Prat10 "hey I am right here bud"
As the BMS flash is Beta, the Cobb E30 map has a bit of its own issues with throttle closures at post shifts, and timing correction issues hindering its true power capability.
Its not over hear though for the 335is, PTF bka ProTuning Freaks will be stepping in with their eTuning or Remote Tuning skills to bring out the sleeping beast within this 335is. Also, keep I mind it still has all four cats, two that are cP-e DPs with Highflow cats
More to follow with more vids and progress from both tuning sides
