*****read below*****
We are going to do something truely custom here ;)
These rods are going to be special.
Special, in the fact that we are going to use a performance rod bearing that can take some serious abuse, and get away from the expensive and problematic BMW bearings.
Factory rod bearings can take about 7,000 PSI of pressure before deforming.
The rod bearings we are using can take about 14,500 PSI of pressure.

That being said, here's how it works:

We have the technology to modifiy crankshafts. We are going to regrind the rod journals on the crankshaft down to a custom "NASCAR" bearing (which in actuality is a very small amount to make it work from a standard BMW bearing)
Doing this allows us a few things:
Reduces cost overall. The bearings from BMW are about 15 bucks PER SHELL (x12)
We supply bearings with these rods, and (if you ever needed them) replacement bearings for a SET is about 150 bucks.
It allows us custom coatings from the manufacturer, vs. having to send them out.
These rod bearings are used in NASCAR and practically all the pro-mod engines built.
We then send the crankshaft out to get it re-nitrated.
When it comes back, everything is checked once again and its ready to ship (crankshaft and rods together)

Option 1:
You send your crankshaft here to be modified, we get it all fixed up and send it back
Grinding the crank and re-nitrating is $240 + shipping

Option 2:
I have ONE or TWO spare crankshaft at the moment, and can send it all together with a refundable core when your crankshaft gets sent back to me.
Sending the modified crankshaft out with the rods is the same $240 + shipping, with a $500 refundable core (after the crankshaft is checked). THIS MUST BE DONE IN ORDER TO USE THESE RODS!

Option 3:
Send your engine down here, and we can modify it and assemble everything for you here.
Pricing on that would depend on what we are actually doing to the engine. Please contact me.

I have to purchase these rods in batches of 7 since they are custom builds.
I have no issue paying for them all up front, but I do need a small deposit to hold your spot ($250)

once I have a minimum of 5 people, I'll order them up (5 week lead time)

If someone is interested in titanium rods, please contact me.

CUSTOM HEAD WORK

We offer 3 stages:

Stage 1:
Hot tanked and cleaned.
All ports physically run through
5 angle valve job
New valve guide seals
Valves are cut/ground/tipped and adjusted
Cylinder head surfaced.
This would be considered slightly over stock, since the multi angle job will dramatically change flow over stock angles.

750.00 + shipping

Stage 2:
All of the above, plus intake port matching, smoothing and cleaning up.
All rough castings are cleaned up in the ports, attention is spent near the valves. This would be considered a "mild street" cylinder head

1150 + shipping

Stage 3:
All of the above, plus a full port and polish job. Custom race angles and proprietary cuts are used with over 30 years of race engines being built and developed. Cylinder head is match flowed and optimized. This would be considered a "full race" cylinder head.

1900 + shipping

We can also provide aftermarket performance valves, in stock form or larger.

I'm just a small squirrel in the world, but I'm trying to make it happen for you guys!

Also, I am still working on the 4l60E transmission idea- but that ones gonna take some time :)
