PTF 91/E50 Quick Review

When ATP was released and PTF decided to do a group buy, that's when I decided to jump ship from GIAC. It took this long because along the way, I had some problems as listed below:


  1. Deviation between the two AFR banks. The BMS DP Fix set at the lowest did not disable or fix the deviation. Removing it completely was the solution.
  2. Wastegate rattle. Had to remove DPs and dealer it. The only thing they did was adjust the wastegates but there is no longer a rattle.
  3. Boost leak. I went ahead and got an ER chargepipe. I'm not sure if this fixed the problem as I installed it right after the rattle got fixed.
  4. When on the base E50 map, clutch started slipping. Got an HPF S2 clutch and used an OEM DMF. After 500 miles, the tuning resumed and the results are below.
