Current update

I then added RBs at about 7,500 miles and went past 8,888 today. I have been working with Jake to hammer out some boost control issues on the cobb. Currently, Cobb hasn’t released access to all the tables on my rom. The ECU doesn’t like to see boost go above 18.5 down low and will cause the ecu to pull boost, its hit or miss and the map with the fix hit my inbox when I was strapping on the dyno. This issue doesn’t impact performance north of 5,500 so I really only take a hit on low end tq.

As I asked Jake to cap wtq at 450 (which he did a great job with), I am quite happy with the way things are running. The next revision should have this cleared up and give me a sold 450 wtq from 3,200 to 5,000 rpms. I also asked Jake for a safe and reliable daily driver map. I am going to put 40k miles on these over the next three years and I want them to last. So he's keeping boost capped at around 19psi down low and then having it tapper to 17 psi at 6k rpms and then dive to 14.5 psi at redline.

I know I can squeeze more out of the RBs, but I would rather leave 7-12% on the table for the longevity of the turbos.

The dyno and custom maps have been completed on E40. I have been measuring the content of the ethanol at each fill up to ensure its spot on. Timing has been incredible clean on these maps.

The timing drop was only in cylinder one and much cleaner than past runs.

The dyno has my pull from today on e40, the original stock pull, stock car stage 1, and FBO stage 2+ all on 93.
