I been needing to replace the clutch in my 07 335i since last fall. E85 and JB4 I can blame on that lol. Anyway what I have noticed is my cluch holds much better as the ambient temperature gets warmer. In the colder temperatures I can easily make the clutch slip by just by giving it solid throttle at lower rpms 2500-3500. Im sure the clutch and flywheel are pretty burned up at this point as its to easy to abuse. What I find interesting is last couple days things warmed up here on the east coast and the clutch is much harder to make slip if it all. Does the ambient temperatures have that much of an impact on clutch holding power?
